HIGH PERFORMANCE BEACH TRAINING
The Phoenix High Performance Beach Training program caters to club level players who are participating in the 2021 OVA beach tournaments, satellite and invitational tournaments. Phoenix Volleyball offers the highest level of coaching staff, international, and national level athletes and strength and conditioning trainers to provide an optimal training experience.
This training program aims to deliver a full range of skills necessary to compete and excel in a competitive beach volleyball setting.
Within the each session, athletes will work to improve techniques, physical and tactical aspects of the game, as well as decision-making abilities.
Mental training, strength and conditioning, & nutrition guides will be incorporated into the weekly session, as these are commonly overlooked aspects are imperative when striving for excellence and consistency.
Phoenix HP Training provides instrumental training leading up to the OVA beach provincial and national championships.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS and RETURN TO PLAY GUIDELINES FROM THE CITY AND THE ONTARIO VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION
Here are the high level guidelines the club follows at Beach camps:
- Max of 10 campers per court with social distancing guidelines
- Spacing between each court so there will be an empty court in between
- Coaches will be instructing the campers with drills from the empty court or on the other side of a net
- Coaches will have masks when speaking with groups in a closer environment but not when they are are
- 6 ft apart from the athletes
- Each athlete will have their own ball for the camp and these balls will remain on the designated court for the week. Regular Disinfecting will take place with the balls
- For emergency or medical situations, such as an injury, coaches will have masks and gloves to tend to the campers
- We ask that all campers bring their own hand sanitizers, disinfectants, water bottles and sunscreen to ensure no group contact occurs.
Our co-ed camps focus on beach volleyball specific development, strength and conditioning and life skills training. Learn the 2-on 2-game of beach volleyball with our highly qualified coaches who will share their love of the sport.
